A superior lake.

How many superlative apply to Lake Superior? Well, it is the largest fresh water lake in the world, it has 10% of the worlds fresh water. The coastline is 1826 miles long, and it is 1322 ft deep in the centre. It is 350 miles long, and 160 miles wide. How much more? Well the water in it would cover the whole of North and South America to a depth of 18 inches!

And to top all that, it is certainly the most beautiful area we have seen in Canada so far. Lovely beaches, fantastic waterfalls, views to die for. Not a lot more to say- I'll leave you with a few more pics.

Butterflies seeking salt at the side of the road.

Hopefully this is the nearest we'll get to a bear!

Fisherman at Montreal Falls.

Theano Point,, where uranium was first found in Canada. Also the resting place of the largest ship to go down in the Great Lakes
